HIGHLIGHTS OF THE JULY 21,
2004
MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE COUNTRY CLUB RIDGE TENANTS CORP.
1. Congratulations
to Kevin and his wife Jennifer on the birth of their son
Dillon James McGee.
2.
Heartfelt thoughts and
sympathy go out to Bob Voss and family in the loss of
his mother.
3.
After eighteen years of
dedicated service to CCR, Victor Guity is retiring on
September 3, 2004. Victor
will be attending the pool party on September 12th
with his family so please join us in wishing him
farewell.
4.
Con
Edison was at CCR on August 19th pruning
trees that were too close to the electrical power lines.
This pre-emptive measure should prevent electrical
blackouts caused by tree branches falling on
the wires during bad weather. This service was at no
charge to the co-op, which has resulted in a
great savings for CCR.
5. Please
note: our own maintenance staff is available to trim low
branches. If you are aware of any trees that are in
need of trimming, please call Bob Voss and report it.
6.
Nameplates are being
up-dated on the mailboxes and doors. Please inform Bob
Voss if you have any special requests for your
nameplates.
7.
The
CCR website (ccrhartsdale.com) was out of service for a
few weeks but is now back up and running. Please visit
the site to complete your work orders, correspond with
the board, etc.
8. The
heating season is approaching. Requests for radiator
bleeding will be handled in the order they
are received. Do not attempt to bleed the
radiators yourself; they must be bled by one of
CCR’s maintenance men.
9.
In an
effort to maintain a cohesive and harmonious courtyard
appearance, new residents will be encouraged to purchase
either green plastic, wrought iron or wooden lawn
furniture. We also suggest that current residents that
purchase or replace their lawn furniture also follow
these guidelines.
10.
Prior
to starting any renovations, you must submit a
Renovation Application with a $500.00 deposit
check, which will be refunded to you upon completion of work. You can
obtain an Application Form
from the Maintenance Office or through AKAM.
11.
A CCR
contact list is attached for your information.
12.
The
Board is evaluating the need for additional resident
storage space at CCR and would like your
input. Kindly complete the attached survey and return it to the
Maintenance Office as soon as possible.
