HIGHLIGHTS OF THE
DECEMBER 10, 2004 MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE COUNTRY CLUB RIDGE TENANTS CORP.
1.
CCR
is in the process of installing storage cages in the
storage rooms located in buildings 7, 15 and 64. New
florescent lighting will also be installed to properly
light the rooms. The size of the storage cages is 7x7x7
feet and they will be available at an affordable rental
of $20 per month/per unit. Residents are required to
rent the units in one-year increments paying the entire
year up front. Free storage space will also remain
available. Thirty units will be constructed and will be
rented on a first-come, first-serve basis.
2.
Damaged gutters are being repaired and/or replaced by
All State Leaf Guard.
3.
Carlos Sampelayo was elected Vice President of the CCR
Board of Directors.
4.
The Town of Greenburgh has installed a streetlight on a
telephone pole in a very dark parking area across from
Building #63. We are awaiting electric to be run to the
pole.
5.
The final phase of the
nametag installation for the residents’ mailboxes and
apartment doors is almost done. Residents with
different or additional names than that listed with Akam
should contact Bob Voss who will tailor your nametag
accurately.
6.
Sample hallway (building #33) has been painted and the
light fixtures updated. New nameplates have been placed
over the mailboxes and on the unit doors for a uniform
appearance. Please stop by to take a look and feel free
to send us your comments.
7.
Residents should report
their concern about possible storage room violations to
the CCR maintenance staff to enable the staff to correct
the situation and possibly avoid incurring any fines.
8.
Badly damaged or cracked sidewalk repairs are being
addressed.
9.
Bob Voss has recently telephoned the Hartsdale
Postmaster about the mail complaints received from
residents and Akam has written a letter as well. If you
have any complaints about your mail delivery, please let
Bob Voss know and also contact the Postmaster directly.
Let’s work together to get this problem solved.
10.
If anyone has any comments about the washers/dryers in
CCR’s laundry rooms, please send your
complaints/comments to Bob Voss. Your comments will
help us to improve the quality of service we receive
from Service Directions Inc.
11.
Garbage fines are being enforced.
12.
Emergency tree trimming program is in place. The
project will proceed now that the holidays are
over.
13.
Parking rules will be
enforced. This is the time of the year that it is
difficult to find parking with the alternate parking
rules in effect. Please be reminded that residents are
not permitted to use visitor passes for their owned
vehicles that do not have CCR parking permits issued for
the vehicle. Also all vehicles in the main and private
garages must have CCR parking stickers. Violators will
be fined and could lose their parking privileges.
14.
Residents should not
park on the newly paved sidewalks on alternate side of
the street parking days. Parking tickets are being given
out for all cars (residents or non-residents) parked on
the sidewalks. Residents are encouraged to find a
parking space at the bottom of the hill where there are
frequently spots available.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF
OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS AT CCR!!!!
