HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MARCH 6, 2005
MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
COUNTRY CLUB RIDGE TENANTS CORP
- We continue to have difficulties
with mail delivery. At this point, we ask all residents
of CCR to call the Hartsdale Post Office (472-7164)
directly with complaints, as the Managing Agent has both
called repeatedly and sent letters to try to rectify
this situation. The post office is more likely to
respond to individual resident complaints more quickly.

- Contractors working on CCR
premises should all be identified by ID tags issued by
the Maintenance Office. Any resident that sees a
contractor or worker on the property without an
identification tag is asked to call the Maintenance
Office (723-1919) to alert Bob or Kevin.
- A reminder that the complex does
not own Rockledge Road and is not responsible for its
maintenance, including snow removal. Any complaints
regarding snow removal should be addressed to the proper
authorities in the Town of Greenburgh (993-1573). Thank
you.
- A reminder to all CCR residents
that if you are buying new outdoor furniture this year,
you should buy only approved colors. Those are: forest
green, natural wood, or black wrought-iron sets. Please
help us maintain some conformity in the outdoor look of
the complex. Thank you.
- In an attempt to make all outdoor
furniture conform to the specifications mentioned above,
the white pool lounge chairs will be replaced with green
ones starting this season. Additionally, we are ordering
more chairs that allow for sitting in an upright
position to accommodate resident requests in this
domain.
- The long-awaited repainting of the
interior hallways of the buildings is soon to be
underway. Approximate time to completion from start to
finish is 3 months. A more specific separate memo will
be distributed on this shortly, but we ask in advance
that you clear the hallways of all items to allow the
workers to do their jobs properly. Thank you.
- There is a waiting list for the
individual locked storage units. Please call Akam
(674-2100 x24) to put yourself on the list should you
need one.
- The last of the new awnings for
the maisonette patios have been ordered (looking forward
to spring…) and all awnings should now be matching and
in good condition as of this spring.
- A reminder that the annual meeting
is Tuesday, May 17th. WE NEED A QUORUM (51%
of the shareholders) at this meeting or it is void and
we must reschedule. Please plan to attend or at least
give your proxy to a neighbor to allow voting to take
place. Several Board positions are up for grabs. If you
are interested in serving the community, please send in
your candidate profile. We are especially interested in
candidates with some financial background or an
understanding of financial documents.
- A reminder that we have received
numerous complaints about wind chimes on the property.
Please remove these from the public areas. Remember, one
man’s music is another man’s noise. We ALL must feel
comfortable with items placed in public spaces at CCR.
