Country Club Tenants Corp. September/October 2009 Highlights
Our pool season was an overall success under the supervision of American Pool Co.Reminder: Please keep your pool passes that were distributed last year or before. Next spring, updated 2010 stickers will be sent out to all residents to be placed on your passes.
Our Pool Potluck Party on Sunday Aug. 30th was a success thanks to the many residents who participated. In addition to our residents, we were treated by the O'Porto and Frankie & Fanucci restaurants who generously donated food and drink.
During the last two months, 2 cars were booted on our property. Unfortunately, in late October, some major vandalism occurred to a CCR resident's car parked outdoors in a CCR space. This incident was reported to the Town of Greenburgh Police Dept. If anyone is interested a joining a CCR security patrol that would walk around in the evenings a few times a week, please let the Board know immediately via email to Board@ccrhartsdale.com or drop a note in the Board's mailbox at the Maintenance office. In lieu of this most recent activity, we encourage all residents that "if you see something, say something". Alert the Maintenance office of any unusual activity observed and when certain, call the Police. We all should be on the look out for each other.
All the fences have been painted brown throughout the complex.
The fall cleanup is in process by our landscaper. Please store all outdoor furniture (i.e. tables/chairs/umbrellas) that is in good condition into storage rooms for the winter. Any outdoor furniture that is rusted and in disrepair should be discarded by residents. If any such furniture is still left out after November 13, it will be picked up and disposed of by our staff.
New LED lights are currently being installed by our staff in the main garage. These lights will generate a 70% savings in energy and an investment in our future, by utilizing less energy.
Save-a-Tree company had been on our property and tackled many tree issues of either dead or dangerously low hanging limbs over many walkways areas.
A new roof had to be installed on Building #7.
CCR's Halloween Parade for the children at the playground on the hill which was planned for Sat. Oct. 31st, was postponed to the rain date of Sun. Nov. 1st, due to the poor weather conditions on Saturday morning.
The Finance Committee's next meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009.
