Country Club Ridge Tenants Corp. 2009/10 Winter Highlights
A seven-sectioned wooden fence had been installed in late December in front of building #31 to facilitate safe walking down the hill during winter, icy conditions and prevent injuries.
All wooden fences, with the above exception, have been painted brown.
Initial cleanup of far corner of main garage has been completed.
All new led lights have been installed within our main garage. They will illuminate the indoor garage with increased light, with more cost-effectiveness and will last a lot longer. Overall, these lights will reduce our electrical costs over time.
In March, we will begin receiving service from our new landscaping company. In the interim, due to our truck breaking down during the recent snow storm, they assisted us with plowing work on our service road so that all the private garages were accessible.
All crawl space doors are in the process of being checked to determine which ones are in good shape and which ones are in need of replacement and/or painting.
A list will be established to determine the state of all our building entrances so, going forward, we will know which ones are either in need of repair or repainting.
Gutters were cleaned out in December.
Four cars had been booted and one car's tires and rims had been stolen off a resident's car. An abandoned car on Old Hartsdale Road had caught on fire and the Town of Greenburgh Fire Dept. was called.
Due to the recent mugging incident just outside the main garage, we are recommending that if you see something, say something and call the Greenburgh Police Dept. at 682-5300 to make a report. The more diligent we can all become, the safer we will all be by looking out for each other.
Paul Feiner's office was contacted to inquire about the resetting of remaining curb stones on Rockledge Road. The Town of Greenburgh informed us that additional work would be done in the spring.
Documentation concerning discolored water is being gathered and samples will be submitted to the Town of Greenburgh for analysis.
Roof repairs were made to various buildings due to damage resulted from recent storms.
Two additional garbage receptacles have been positioned across from buildings #61 and #131.
Our 'Beach Club' sign will be updated for the season to read "Country Club Ridge Pool".
The CCR House Rules have been reviewed and updated and will be distributed to all residents in the near future.
